Why We Must Fundraise as a 501c3 Organization

You may think we are always asking for help or always raising money... well, truthfully, we are.

Every dog that enters the rescue must be seen by one of our vets even if nothing more than for a wellness visit. Most always need more than that - from a spay/neuter, shots, HW testing the amount invested in every dog we rescue adds up - FAST!

We are working hard to secure grants now that we have 1 full year as an established 501c3, but there are countless other organizations also applying. We need fundraising and community support to keep our mission to help more dogs running smoothly if our efforts for receiving a grant fails.

We have set our adoption fees to help supplement our costs, but many see them as too much. They do not understand that fee rarely covers our investment to ensure adopters receive a healthy, vaccinated, spayed/neutered dog nor do they want to hear what they would need to be to cover all costs.

Help us spread our message of why we need our community to aide us in helping the dogs we rescue. If you see a post on FB - Share it, and add a little comment on why it is important to help your friends and our communities understand the growing need for our rescue in this area to support and ensure a healthy pet population!!
